Great Show at SF’s Hotel Utah Last Night
Chi McClean Trio at The Hotel Utah Saloon, January 7th, 2010
Kicking off a few shows this January from San Francisco to Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, and San Diego, I played a set at The Hotel Utah Saloon in San Francisco last night with my trio. Rene Escovedo joined me on percussion, Dan “D-Lucca” offered up bass, and good friend Rich Armstrong sat in with some killer trumpet and horn for most of the night, too. SO MUCH FUN. We had a great crowd and had a phenomenal time sharing the stage with some local acts including Kaitlin McGaw, Valerie Orth, and KFOG 104.5 FM Local Scene artist Jesse Brewster. It was a really fun mix of music with a really positive vibe all night. The venue was great, the sound guy was so easy to work with, and it just was a great time all the way around.
