Meeting with Cookie Marenco at OTR Studios Today

After so much busy work last week with the move, I’m excited to get back down to OTR Studios today to meet up with engineer/producer Cookie Marenco to run through the recording project, figure out where we stand, and put together some next steps to keep things moving forward. We’ve got a really great start and the rough mixes with me, Rob Ickes on dobro, Brain on percussion/kit drums, and Jon Evans on bass and I can’t wait to re-track some vocals and guitar while planning out the remainder of the sessions for keys, background vocals, and a few other audio treats! I’ll be meeting with Cookie around 4:00pm today, so I’ll keep you guys posted on what’s happening when I get back. In the mean time, have a great day!
