Hey! So, speaking of last minute gigs.... Haha... I shared a bill with LA rocker, sound guy extraordinaire, and man about town Joel Eckels last night up in Ventura, CA at Zoey's Café. (He and his band KILLED it, by the way.) This morning, I got a text from him about a cancellation for his notable "in the round" tonight at Room 5 Lounge. He needed a sub, so, of course, I said "yes"! Now, it'll be pretty loose in terms of scheduling this evening, and I'm not sure how long I'll get to play, but my guess is that music starts at 8pm with an opening act or two, then the "in the round" portion kicks off around 9pm. I think that's where I'll be playing, but ya never know. What I DO know, is that there's going to be some serious pickin' going on at Room 5 tonight with lots of great acoustic acts including Joel Eckels, John Elliot, Jon Green, Peter Piek, and me, so you should just be there anyway if you're any kind of acoustic/songwriter music fan in the greater Los Angeles, CA area.
