I always get psyched when I have the opportunity to share the stage with South Pasadena singer/songwriter, Brad Colerick. Brad has an easy going style of singing and playing that is just a joy to hear. Weekly, he hosts a songwriter series called “Wine & Song” at this great little venue named Firefly Bistro in South Pasadena, CA. In addition to the featured acts, there are  nearly always a host of local songwriters that step up for a cameo performance, here and there. Some are pretty heavy hitters, others aren’t, but the general rule is that they are ALL really, really good…
I played a couple standards for my first set, then went out on a limb and played some brand mew co-writes that haven’t seen much (if any) stage time. I figured the environment was ripe for an experiment… While they were sort of rocky, it was fun to give ‘em a go and see what the audience reaction was. At the end of the night, I had to smile as I looked back on a terrific evening hanging with friends, great musicians (Suzy Glaze and Brad Colerick were the highlights of the evening) and good food.

Huge thanks to the gang at Firefly Bistro for hosting the event, Brad Colerick for putting it all together and inviting me to perform, and all of my friends, fans, and the great musicians that made the entire evening such a great experience. Can’t wait to do it all again soon!
