I have known Brad Colerick only a little over a year, professionally, and I am genuinely grateful and proud to call him my friend. He is a terrific songwriter, a skilled guitar player, and great singer - the infamous triple threat! (He's also one of the nicest an most even-keeled guys you'll ever meet.) On Wednesday evenings down in South Pasadena, California, he hosts one of the cooler songwriter nights around: "Wine & Song" at Firefly Bistro. There are three artists on the bill, generally, (Brad, and two touring guests) and a host of special guests that color the evening with humor, amazing songs, and incredible, collaborative performances. It's darned near what some folks might call a hootenanny by the end of the night! On Wednesday evening, August 15th, we will be kicking things off at 7:00pm and will run up until about 9:30pm or so. It's completely free, open to all ages, and a great way to unwind in the middle of the week, listen to some groovy tunes, and enjoy the award winning cuisine from Firefly Bistro (as your performer for the evening, I advise you to sample several of their tacos... woah...
