Performing at The Bluebird Café on Saturday, June 23rd
When I moved to Nashville earlier this year, most of the people I knew from California and elsewhere knew next to nothing about the town, but they ALL knew something about The Bluebird Café. Walk into this iconic venue and you may be fooled by the modest appointments and location, but as soon as the music kicks in, make no mistake: this joint has great sound, a terrific vibe, and is steeped in songwriter history and lore.
I will be playing in the round with a few local writers hosted by singer/songwriter and friend, Morgan Bracy, kicking off at 6:30pm on Saturday evening, June 23rd, 2012. The show is free, but we’re expecting a full house, so table reservations are highly recommended in advance if you’d like to come and make sure you have a seat. To do that, it’s really a piece of cake: just click on over to The Bluebird Café reservation page online here and follow the directions. Please note that reservations do cost $2.00 per person in advance, but it’s a small price to pay for a little piece of mind on the night of the performance.
I will be performing some of my favorite tunes from my recent release, “A Thing Or Three”, as well as some newer songs I’ve written since arriving here in Nashville earlier this spring. It’s going to be a really fun night of music and a special one for me as newbie here in town, so I hope you’ll join us. Don’t forget that The Bluebird Café serves a pretty a tasty menu of dinner options, as well as a full bar offering, so come early and come hungry! Doors will open at 5:30pm, so if you don’t like planning ahead and want to chance it, I highly advise that you arrive by 5:30pm or earlier to get in line and secure your spot inside before the show.
Thanks, happy summer, and see you all soon at The Bluebird Café!
