2013 Summer Tour Happening Now
It’s hot, humid, and, well… It’s just plain HOT back in Nashville, TN this summer! So, as far as I’m concerned, there’s no better time than the present to hit the road for cooler climes and a summer tour! Jokingly, I’m calling this run of shows my “Summer Break 2013″ as I’ve been getting in a ton of surfing, mountain biking, and hiking along the California coast. All outdoor activities aside, however, it’s been a really productive trip with twenty performances so far, including stops in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Lake Tahoe, and Sacramento, to name a few, with many, many more to go in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and other points east before returning to Tennessee in September to finish up my latest full-band recording at The Bomb Shelter with Jeff “Shakey” Fowlkes (percussion), Audley Freed (electric guitar), Jimmy Wallace (keys), Robert Kearns (bass), Rob Ickes (dobro), Joe Spivey (fiddle, banjo, mandolin) and, in the control room, Andrija Tokic and Greg Thompson.

Cruising the California Highway 1 through Malibu in search of a wave before my gig in Los Angeles on July 17th, 2013.
With plenty more fun to go, and a lot of pop-up performances happening along the way up, be sure to keep tabs on what’s happening by checking out my performance calendar from time to time, or following me on Facebook or Twitter for daily feeds, news and more from the road. In the mean time, please help spread the word to friends, family, and music lovers who may be interested in hearing some old fashioned acoustic music. Have a terrific summer season, wherever you are, and see you soon…
